I once read a book to my second grade class in which, the grandmother would ask her granddaughter how she would remember " that" day every night when they would get ready for bed. I often reflect on what I will remember about my day. I would love to write it down everyday, but that does not always happen.Today was very precious. I will remember today as the day when Lilly Grace finished my song. I was singing, " Sweet Caroline" and LG chimed in with Bum ba dah!!! Too Funny! I will also remember that today was the day that Lance said." Iddy has been pushing me all day." He cracks me up with his new demands. " I want/need that" or "I want someting else". I will remember that today was the day that Caroline spilled her sippy cup on her tray and enjoyed splashing around in her apple juice. Of course, I will also remember the precious face she was making as she chewed/gummed on her pieces of banana this morning. Before I started writing tonight LG walked into the bedroom and said two more times. She has always wanted a little extra time at night. That meant she wanted two more minutes with mommy(daddy had to go back to work). I will remember this as the night that Lilly and I sang " You Are My Sunshine" until Caroline fell back asleep. Then I sang it some more until Lilly fell asleep. Such a blessing to be a mother. A gift from God.

Oatland Island Wildlife Center/Crab Shack
We recently visited Oatland Island Wildlife Center near Tybee Island. The children
walked almost all of the 2 1/2 mile trail. Of course we stopped and took a snack/water break, photos, etc... They really enjoyed seeing the different animals.
Lilly Grace is still a little scared around bigger animals. Lance led the way most of the day. Caroline is just a WONDERFUL baby who goes with the flow. We ended the day by visiting the Crab Shack. Good eats for the whole family!
