I just looooove Fall. The air is so crisp, the sky so blue, candy corn, pumpkins, costumes, smores, hay rides..... It is such a busy time of year for us. Eric loves Fall as well! Only for him it is a time for football, shrimping, and fishing. We have already started our unit on Fall at "Mommy's Preschool" ( HEE-HEE). Prime example, candy corn as a reward for going to the potty! Seriously,we have taken walks to look for leaves that are changing colors. One day we took our pumpkins and collected leaves and acorns in them. Later that day we used them to make Fall wreaths along with orange and yellow tissue paper. It was so fun. The twins are so independent (not a clue as to where they get that from). "Mommy, I want to use the glue all by myself!" On another cool day we rolled out the butcher paper and made apple prints. Caroline enjoyed playing on a blanket in the grass. The kids love looking for pumpkins and scarecrows on our family walks. So....after a trip to Wal-mart and Target we now how three small scarecrows sticking out of our mums, and a medium sized jack-o-lantern that lights up! Nothing to big, just enough to get those precious smiles. More Fall activities to come.
