Yesterday we took a trip to the Lowcountry Produce Farm just outside of Beaufort,SC.
Got ourselves some pumpkins, feed some goats cheerios, and bought some gumbo. The kids had a great time. I think Lance kicked every pumpkin in the patch. Lilly Grace found the pumpkin that she wanted and did not let it go. Caroline enjoyed pulling up on the big pumpkins. The twins picked out "a baby one" for their little sister (Caline). We ended up on the playground at waterfront park. A good time was had by all! We even got to see a few big shrimp boats!
Today was a big day for Caroline Elisabeth Metz. She is getting so big. She is now clapping, scooting around the tables, calling for mamamama. She said dada today as well. She was so precious eating her breakfast this morning. I looked over and she was doing a real clap. She has been trying to get those hands together for sometime now. Until now,it has looked like she was trying to get something off of her hands. :)
Lilly Grace was a lost without her brother Lance today. Lance was a little under the weather. He slept and watched tv on the sofa most of the day. LG did not know what to do with herself. Her new favorite thing to say is "K" for okay. "I am going to do this, "k" mommy?" She mimics everything that I do. If I have my hands on my hips, so does she. If I have my chin resting on my hands,so does she. So precious! She has also started calling Lance,Lance Alan ( said Wance Owin.
My son Lance has started calling me Mom and Eric Dad. Not sure that I am ready for that, and not a clue as to why he decided to shorten our names????? He informed me that he is not a baby anymore! "I am not a baby,I bigger and bigger." So true. He is getting quite confident and opinionated. Where on earth did he get that?????
